Stephen Christopher McNeilly, age 22, of Marine, IL., died Friday, September 28, 2007, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital (BJC) in St. Louis, MO. He was born June 15, 1985, in Breese, IL., the son of Stephen Scott McNeilly and Maureen Anne Manton. Survivors include Mother-Maureen Anne Manton of Marine, Ill., Father-Stephen S. \"Scott\" McNeilly of Mount Vernon, Ill., Step Mother-Debbie McNeilly of Highland, Ill., Brother-Matthew McNeilly of Highland, Ill., Brother-Alexander L. Malench of Marine, Ill., Girl Friend-Amanda K. Schwendemann of Marine, Ill., Paternal Grandfather-Dennis (Joette) McNeilly of Highland, Ill., Uncle-Edward J. (Julie) Manton of Florissant, Mo., Uncle-Frank P. (Linda) Manton of Madera, Calif., Uncle-Robert E. \"Bobby\" (Cheryl) Manton of Marine, Ill., Aunt-Patrice M. (Ken) LaBlance, nee Manton of Edwardsville, Ill., Aunt-Kathleen E. (Bob) Evans, nee Manton of Walls, Miss., Aunt-Judy (husband - David Albrect) Koen of Glen Carbon, Ill., Uncle-Jeff (Phyllis) McNeilly of Highland, Ill., Uncle-Mark McNeilly of Saint Charles, Mo., Aunt-Sheri (boy friend- Chris Arenson) Schroetter of Trenton, Ill., Aunt-Lori Ann Conrad of Zionville, N.C., Aunt-Lori Anne Kordick of Sarasota, Fla., Uncle-Dr. Larry (Pam) Shipley, DC of Glen Carbon, Ill. He was preceeded in death by Paternal Grandfather-Larry Szegedy, Pateranl Grandmother-Dorothy Grapperhaus, Maternal Grandfather-Edward C. Manton, Maternal Grandmother-Mary Elizabeth Manton, nee Abbott, Uncle-James B. \"Oscar\" Manton, Uncle-John Michael Manton, Aunt-Eileen T. \"Ike\" Shipley, nee Manton, and an Uncle-Joseph Manton. Chris was born at Breese, IL; He grew up in the Marine & Edwardsville, IL area. He had attended Edwardsville High School. After his schooling, he went to work for McKay Auto Parts in Edwardsville delivering parts in the area. He had also worked as a cook at Lauries Place in Edwardsville. He enjoyed video games; animals (especially cats); corvettes; and music. In July of \'05 he was diagnosed with Hodgken\'s lymphoma.
