Patricia A. "Pat" Taylor

Patricia A. Taylor, age 79 of Highland, IL, died Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Highland Health Care Center in Highland, IL. She was born September 21, 1936, in Gorham, IL, the daughter of Percy and Clara (nee Van Pelt) Kreuzer. On June 26, 1954, she married Charles W. Taylor, Jr. who survives. She was a member of Mosaic Church. She was also a member of Greater Carlyle Bowling Association; Highland Country Club; former member of First Baptist Church. Pat was born and grew up in Jackson County. She graduated from Gorham High School in 1954. She lived in Collinsville, IL, Sandridge, IL, and move to Highland, IL in 1966. She had a winter home in Okeechobee, Florida for the last 26 years. She had worked for Gano's Department Store in Highland. She loved to bowl; had a 300 game; and participated in local and state tournaments. She enjoyed golfing. She received trophies in both. She liked to go fishing with her husband (Bass and Crappie).
