Nina L. Volz, age 86 of Alhambra, IL, died Sunday, June 09, 2019, at Alhambra Care Center in Alhambra, IL. She was born on Tuesday, August 16, 1932, in Alhambra, IL, the daughter of Fred and Alma (nee Sander) Kamphoeffner. On Sunday, October 24, 1954, she married Robert L. Volz who passed away November 30, 2010. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ; Alhambra Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary; American Legion Auxiliary-Alhambra; Community Club-Alhambra. Nina was born at Alhambra, IL. She grew up there and graduated from Highland High School. She was a Activity Director at Hitz Memorial Nursing Home in Alhambra, IL for 30 plus years. "Bob" Volz - Died 11/30/2010 Brother - Bobby F. "Bubbles" Kamphoeffner - Died 6/23/1990. Arrangements are being handled by Dauderman Mortuary in Alhambra, IL. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, June 14, 2019, at Salem United Church of Christ in Alhambra, IL and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Salem United Church of Christ in Alhambra, IL. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Salem United Church of Christ in Alhambra, IL., with John Mindrup - Assistant Pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Salem Cemetery in Alhambra, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to Salem United Church of Christ, Salem Cemetery or Alhambra Volunteer Fire Department.
