Elmer L. Hochuli

Elmer L. Hochuli, age 94, of Highland, IL., died Monday, December 7, 2009, at Faith Care Center/Faith Countryside Homes in Highland, IL. He was born December 9, 1914, in Highland, IL., the son of Louis and Emily (nee Bornhauser) Hochuli. On January 28, 1939, he married Lorine B. (nee Wobbe) Hochuli , who passed away August 17, 2004. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL; Holy Name Society of St. Paul Catholic Church. Born and grew up in Highland, IL; he graduated from Highland High School in 1934; he played on the Highland High School first football team. He started working at the Imperial Clock Factory; briefly at Wick Organ Company and Basler Electric, all at Highland, IL; He was a tool and die maker for many years at Highland Machine and Tool, Highland, IL, retired in 1968. He and his wife operated a Parakeet Shop from their home for many years. He enjoyed bingo, going to auctions and fishing. Survivors include Son-Ronald L.
