Dolores M. Frey

Dolores M. (nee Weis) Frey, age 85, of Highland, IL., died Monday, January 11, 2010, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Highland, IL. She was born April 6, 1924, in Marine, IL., the daughter of Frank and Rose (nee Essenpreis) Weis. On June 21, 1944, she married Arnold H. \"Russo\" Frey, who passed away June 17, 1991. She was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church; Daughters of Isabella Chapter # 237; Saint Anne Altar Society; Quilters of the Church; St. Paul Ladies Funeral Choir; Meals on Wheels Volunteer; Weinheimer Senior Citizens. Dolores was born West of Highland; attended Steinkoenig Country School then St. Jacob High School. Worked in St. Louis and Highland as a Nanny. Dolores worked at Wick Aircraft; following marriage raised her family until youngest was age 10 then went to work at Saint Joseph Hospital as a Nurse\'s Assistant from 1968 to 1986 ; she did volunteer work. Chaired the Quilt Stand at Kirchenfest since the inception of the picnic. Enjoyed quilting, games, \"Euchre\", traveling and gardening. Survivors include Son-Gerald O.
