Clara I. Dubach

Clara I. (nee Von Hatten) Dubach, age 83, of Highland, IL., died Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Vista Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation in Lewisville, TX. She was born January 23, 1926, in St. Rose, IL., the daughter of Henry and Eugenia (nee Middeke) Von Hatten. On September 8, 1949, she married Leroy M. \"Dube\" Dubach, who passed away February 27, 2004. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland,IL; St. Anne Altar Sodality; VFW Post 5694, Ladies Auxiliary, Highland, IL; Highland Country Club. Born at St. Rose, IL, grew up on the family farm. Worked at Highland Box Board Company, Highland, IL, where she met her husband. Later worked as a Nurses Aide at St. Joseph Hospital, Highland, IL, until the early 1960\'s. After her children were grown she worked part time at the Swiss Gift Shop, Highland, IL. She was a church volunteer at St. Paul Catholic Church and a hospice volunteer in Texas. She enjoyed gardening; and playing golf, winning the \"A Flight\" championship in 1983 at the Highland Country Club. Survivors include Daughter-Bonnie L.
