Anna B. Arnold

Anna B. Arnold, age 96 of Highland, IL, died Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Faith Care Center in Highland, IL. She was born on Friday, April 03, 1914, in Lebanon, IL, the daughter of Michael and Louisa (nee Wasem) Krump. On Saturday, September 01, 1934, she married Arthur Arnold passed away June 04, 1983. She was a past member of the Belleville Women\'s Bowling Association and the Beauticians Union. She was raised on a farm at Lebanon, IL; went to school at Emerald Mound School at Lebanon; one year of high school at Lebanon Township High School; went to St. Louis Academy of Cosmotology. First worked at beauty shop; then later purchased the shop. She and her husband then built a house at Belleville, IL, there she had a one-chair beauty shop. She bowled on leagues for over 40 years; bowled state tournaments for 17 years; 276 was her highest game. She went everywhere to play bingo. She moved from Belleville to Swansea, where she lived for five years; then moved to Highland.
