Raymond Thomas Miller, age 5, died in his loving parents arms on Sunday, February 2, 2014, at their home in Highland, IL. He was born October 13, 2008, in Maryville, IL, the son of Eric Jon and Jennifer Rae (nee Lerch) Miller. He was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church. Raymond was born at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL; last 3 years family has lived in Highland. He was diagnosed with DiGeorge Syndrome (genetic disorder). He was baptized Easter of 2009. He attended Highland Elementary School in Mrs. Sparlin's class. He has spent 2 to 3 years of his life as a patient at Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 05, 2014, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, and from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM, on Thursday, February 06, 2014, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 06, 2014, at Saint Paul Catholic Church in Highland, IL, with Rev. Fr. Charles A. Edwards officiating. Interment will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to Cardinal Glennon Foundation.
