Delma B. Widman

Delma B. (Bleisch) Widman, age 95, of Highland, IL., died Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Highland, IL. She was born January 15, 1911, in Pierron, IL., the daughter of Edwin and Dora (Beck) Bleisch. On May 25, 1937, she married Orville M. \"Ronnie\" Widman who passed away December 29, 1980. Dee was born and grew up helping her family on the family farm east of Pierron. After her marriage she and her husband lived in Pierron and moved to Highland in 1938, and has lived there since. Her husband was a well known seed-corn salesman for Funks G Hybrid, in Highland. She enjoyed traveling on cruises with Elderhostel to Hawaii, Alaska, Europe, and throughout the U.S. She also liked to play Bridge, belonging to several card clubs and loved raising roses. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church-Highland, IL. She was also a member of St. Anne Altar Society Daughters of Isabella Chapter #237 - Highland Women\'s Club Weinheimer Senior Citizens St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary. (Kevin) Waldron of Olathe, Kan., Grandchild-J. Scott (Janie) Widman of Lenexa, Kan., Grandchild-Robert A.
