Vesta J. Foster

Vesta Jimmial (Sanders) Foster, age 92, of Alhambra, IL., died Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at Hitz Memorial Home in Alhambra, IL. She was born October 25, 1916, in Macedonia, IL., the daughter of Leonard and Bonnie (Phillips) Sanders. On March 7, 1937, she married Floyd K. Foster who passed away February 24, 1990. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Livingston, Illinois;. Mrs. Foster was born in Macedonia, IL and attended her first 2 years of High School there. The school closed and Vesta graduated from McLeansboro High School in 1935. She worked in a Shirt Factory in McLeansboro. When her children were born she stayed home to raise them. She returned to work outside the home in 1957 and worked at a dress factory in Benton, IL. She moved to Alhambra in 1995. She was also a member of Former member of East Benton Baptist Church - Benton, Illinois. Survivors include Daughter-Janice K. (David) Reinhardt of Alhambra, Ill., Son-Phillip P.
