Sylvia A. "Sis" Sewell, age 62 of Pocahontas, IL, died Thursday, August 21, 2014, at her residence in Pocahontas, IL. She was born on Saturday, February 02, 1952, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Sylvester C. and Lillian A. (nee Haislar) Marquardt. She married Eugene S. Sewell, Sr. who passed away on Monday, March 20, 1995. Sylvia was born at Highland; grew up in Grantfork; attended Highland High School. She worked for Chastain's Nursing Home at Highland for over 10 years. She was a stay at home mom for several years. She worked for Clean The Uniform Company in Highland for over 25 years. She enjoyed bingo, watching "Days of Our Lives", bonfires and a family get together. She was very active on "Facebook", loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading and sitting outside.
