Ruby M. Willeford, age 96 of Pocahontas (Pierron), IL, died Monday, May 22, 2017, at her residence in Pocahontas (Pierron), IL. She was born on Saturday, January 29, 1921, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Adolph E. and Emma J. (nee Kirstein) Landolt. On Sunday, March 20, 1949, she married Lloyd E. Willeford at Pocahontas, Arkansas, who passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2008. She was a member of Grantfork United Church of Christ. Born on Landolt Road between Highland and Grantfork. She attended Kaufman County School; later worked for Moulten-Bartley Shoe Factory in Highland. Following her marriage, she and Lloyd lived in Highland and in the early 1950's moved to Alberta, Canada; returned to Highland; in the early 1970's moved to Mesa, AZ; returned to Highland and in 2010 she moved in with her daughter.
