Pearl L. Donnelly Torrence, age 97 of Highland, IL, died Monday, April 09, 2018, at Highland Health Care Center in Highland, IL. She was born on July 31, 1920, in Assumption, IL, the daughter of Alfred R. and Clara R. (nee Blum) Dubach, Sr. On August 18, 1935 she married Laverne H. "Jack" Donnelly. He passed away on August 25, 1975. She remarried on July 26, 1978 to Milton Torrence at Highland, IL. He passed away on January 22, 1994. She is a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Edwardsville, IL. She is a former member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Highland, IL. Pearl was born in Assumption, IL and moved to Highland, IL, at an early age. She has lived the rest of her life in Highland, IL. Since age 74, she has lived on her own until just a month ago. The most important things in her life has been preaching the “Good News” of God’s Kingdom and studying the Bible. She always had a well kept yard and she enjoyed flowers. She was an amazing seamstress, baker and loved to cook. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee and Aggravation. Dubach, Sr. - Died 3/03/1952 Mother - Clara R. Dubach, nee Blum - Died 10/12/1972 Step Son - Lowell G. Torrence Died 12/07/1994 Husband - Milton Torrence - Died 1/22/1994 First Husband - Laverne H. "Jack" Donnelly - Died 8/25/1975 Brother - Alfred R. Dubach, Jr. - Died 3/27/1963 Brother - Leroy J. "Dub" Dubach - Died 2/27/2004 Sister - Shirley A. Wise - Died 6/24/2016 Son-in-law - Kent J. Herzog - Died 11/30/2006 Son-in-law - Charles Wayne Knox - Died 6/09/2002 Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL. Memorial funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Edwardsville, IL, with Elder Barry Jellen, officiating.
