Michael J. Wisnasky

Michael John Wisnasky, age 64, of Mascoutah, IL., died Thursday, June 12, 2008, at his residence in Mascoutah, IL. He was born February 24, 1944, in Marine, IL., the son of Joseph and Emeline (McCain) Wisnasky. On December 23, 1981, he married Eileen K. Toombs and she survives. Michael was born and raised in Marine, IL and graduated from St. Paul High School in Highland in 1962. Two years later he enlisted in the US Army with duty with \"The Organization of American States International Forces - Dominican Republic\" from 1965 to 1966. He had worked at Vahalla Cemetery in Belleville. After his marriage he worked for Laborer Local Union #459 in Belleville, and had worked at Vahalla Cemetery in Belleville. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and flowers. He had his first heart attack at age 38 and has spent the last 2 years and 9 months on Hospice. He was also a member of Labor Local #459 - Belleville, IL American Legion - Bloomington, IL. Survivors include 2nd Wife-Eileen K. Wisnasky nee Toombs of Mascoutah, Ill., 1st Wife-Carol A. (Pat) Wisnasky of Fort Knox, Ky., Son-Johnathan G. (Vicki) Wisnasky of New Baden, Ill., Son-Raymond S. (Amy) Wisnasky of Mascoutah, Ill., Daughter-Michelle J. Wisnasky of Mascoutah, Ill., Son-Christopher M. (Wendy) Toombs of New Baden, Ill., Daughter-Theresa A. (Shawn) Friedrich of Highland, Ill., Grandchildren-12 and one due in December., Great-Grandchildren-3 ., Brother-William J. (Sharon) Wisnasky of Cottage Hills, Ill., Sister-Sylvia A.
