Marie F. Huelsmann, age 90 of Maryland Heights, MO, formerly of Highland, IL, died Tuesday, May 07, 2013, at NHC Health Care in Maryland Heights, MO. She was born on Friday, May 04, 1923, in Pierron, IL, the daughter of Anton G. and Wilhelmina A. "Minnie" (nee Goestenkors) Korte. On Wednesday, November 21, 1945, she married Edwin B. Huelsmann who passed away on Friday, September 15, 2000. She was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church. She was also a member of St. Ann\'s Altar Society and VFW Post 5694 Auxiliary. Marie was born in Pierron, Illinois, third eldest of fourteen children. She graduated from Immaculate Conception grade school in Pierron. She and her husband settled in Highland. Following the death of her husband in 2000, Marie resided at the Highland Home for a short time before moving to the St. Louis area in 2007, to be closer to her children.
