Lottie Wehrle

Lottie Albertina (Foehner) Wehrle, age 101, of Highland, IL., died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Faith Care Center/Faith Countryside Homes in Highland, IL. She was born December 22, 1906, in Jamestown, IL., the daughter of Henry and Caroline (Ablitz) Foehner. On September 18, 1927, she married George H. \"Butch\" Wehrle (died 01/21/1971), who passed away January 21, 1971. She was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ-Highland, IL. She was also a member of Women\'s Guild (Honorary Member); Royal Neighbors of America(75 yr member) Highland Camp #1957; Highland, IL Madison County Association of Home, Community & Education. Mrs Wehrle was born and grew up in Jamestown, Illinois. Following her marriage, she and her husband moved to Highland, IL; lived and raised their family there. She had worked at Chastain\'s Nursing Home, Highland for a period of time. She always was taking care of her family. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards and craft-making. She had volunteered at Faith Countryside Homes. She lived independently until moving to the nursing home in June of 2006. Survivors include Son-Thomas E.
