James L. Jarrell

James L. "Jim" Jarrell, age 61 of Highland, IL, died Thursday, August 23, 2012, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital (BJC) in Saint Louis, MO. He was born, Monday, June 25, 1951, Roed House, West Virginia, the son of Clifford and Dorotha Lee (nee Rutan) Jarrell. On Saturday, June 15, 1974, he married Vickie S. Jarrell (nee Pfister) who survives . He was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. Jim was born at Red House West Virginia; at age 15 moved to Marine, IL; graduated from Triad High School, Troy, IL, in 1971. He worked for the Marine Garment Factory; in 1978 he began working in the oil field for Karchmer Pipe Supply. He worked in the oil field until his illness in 1999 and then had to retire. He enjoyed fishing, his grandchildren, going out to breakfast, visiting with friends and as a young man he enjoyed hunting (racoons and rabbits). DuFrain Grandchild - Stormy N. Dustmann Grandchild - Samantha P. Painter Grandchild - Dalton C. Goodman Grandchild - Hampton M. DuFrain Grandchild - Mark A. Painter Grandchild - James C.
