Edward F. Neudecker

Edward F. "Ed" Neudecker, age 96 of Trenton, IL, died Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Highland Health Care Center in Highland, IL. He was born on Thursday, August 16, 1917, in Alhambra, IL, the son of Edward F. and Martha M. (nee Kamphoeffner) Neudecker. On Wednesday, February 16, 1944, he married Verda A. Neudecker (nee Bellm) who passed away on Saturday, January 05, 2008. He was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church. Born at Alhambra, IL; attended Livingston High School, Livingston, IL. Mr. Neudecker worked for the Shell Oil Co. for a number of years. Farmed near Pocahontas, IL. Later he operated a painting business in Marine, IL. He retired and he and his wife moved to Highland in 1968. He enjoyed the fellowship of his church community and visiting with friends and neighbors on Oak street; he tended to the many flowers around their home. Visitation will be held from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Saint Paul Catholic Church in Highland, IL. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Saint Paul Catholic Church in Highland, IL, with Rev. Father Charles A. Edwards, presiding. Interment will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to Masses or St. Paul School Educational Foundation.
