Celeste S. Jenny, age 89 of Highland, IL, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Faith Countryside Homes/Faith Care Center in Highland, IL. She was born on Thursday, January 26, 1928, in Marine Twp., IL, the daughter of Frank and Rose (nee Essenpreis) Weis. On November 14, 1951, she married Bruce D. Jenny at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Marine,IL, he passed away on October 20, 1982. On June 27, 1988, she married Clyde H. Bloemker at Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, Miamisburg, OH, he passed away on April 18, 1997. She was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL; former St. Anne's Altar Sodality member; VFW Auxiliary to Post #5694; Weinheimer Senior Citizens; all Highland, IL; Eucharistic Federation at St. Joseph Hospital, Highland, IL. She was born and raised in Marine Township. All of her married life she lived in Highland. She worked for Alton Box Board, Highland; later with her husband in their upholstery shop "Jenny's Upholstery". She spent many hours in the chapel at St. Joseph Hospital and helping with Meals On Wheels. She enjoyed travelling, camping, going to the boat, playing cards with her card club and working and travelling with senior citizens. Survivors include: Son - Dennis L.
