Bernice C. Dubach Willi

Bernice C. Dubach Willi nee Stoff, age 86, of Highland, IL., died Saturday, January 10, 2009, at Highland Health Care Center in Highland, IL. She was born May 3, 1922, in Highland, IL., the daughter of George and Mary (Strubhart) Stoff. On Nov. 1, 1941 she married Alfred R. Dubach, he passed away March 27, 1963. She then married Carl J. Willi June 2, 1965 and he passed away May 3, 1989 . Bernice was born and grew up at Highland and attended St. Paul School. She worked at Moulton-Bartley Shoe Factory in Highland and at the Small Arms Plant in St. Louis. After her marriage she raised her children then worked at Highland Supply for several years. She was very active in her church and community. She enjoyed playing Bingo, followed the Chicago Cubs, Playing Rummy, and was delighted in the activities of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church-Highland. She was also a member of Past President Ladies Aux. @ V.F.W. Post 5694 Highland; Ladies Aux. @ American Legion Post 252 Breese; St. Anne\'s Altar Society; St. Paul Funeral Choir; member of the former Navy Mothers Club past President; Highland Senior Citizens; Metro East Chicago Cub\'s Fan Club. She was President of the V.F.W. Auxiliary for three years. Survivors include Son-Dennis G. (Nancy) Dubach of Highland, Ill., Son-David R. Dubach of Marion, Ill., Daughter-Cherie M. (Tom) Riggs of Highland, Ill., Grandchild-Michele L. (Andy) Brooks, Grandchild-Jeff A. (Carla) Dubach, Grandchild-Scott T. Riggs, Grandchild-Joe E. Dubach, Grandchild-Julie M. Dubach, Grandchild-Eric R. Dubach, Grandchild-Darren W. Dubach, G-Grandchild-Brendan M. Dubach, G-Grandchild-Grant S. Riggs, G-Grandchild-Jarett A. Dubach, G-Grandchild-Cameron O. Brooks (Triplet), G-Grandchild-Collin T. Brooks (Triplet), G-Grandchild-Noah A. Brooks (Triplet), G-Grandchild-Gabrielle K. Riggs, Gr-Gr-Grandchild-Hayden Dubach, Sister In-law-Anastasia M. \"Ann\" Stoff of Highland, Ill. She was preceeded in death by Father-George --- Stoff, Mother-Mary K. Stoff nee Strubhart, 1st Husband-Alfred R. Dubach died 3/27/1963, 2nd Husband-Carl J. Willi died 5/3/1989, Son-Thomas C. Dubach died 12/18/1965, Brother-Harold J. Stoff died 3/1/2005, Brother-George J. Stoff died 11/30/2000, Brother-Otto F. Stoff 4/7/1985, Brother-Bernard A. Stoff died 11/10/1996, Sister-Pauline M. Becker died 4/06/1996, Sister-Theresa M.
