Anna Lee Rogier

Anna Lee Rogier, age 92 of Highland, IL, died Saturday, June 08, 2013, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Highland, IL. She was born March 19, 1921, in West Frankfort, IL, the daughter of Emory and Anna (nee Jones) Smith. On September 07, 1941, she married Clinton Howard Rogier who passed away on April 13, 2012. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was also a former member of First Baptist Church in Edwardsville, IL. - Former member Ladies Auxillary at St. Joseph Hospital - Former member of Highland Women\'s Club - Highland Rotary Club Paul Harris Fellow.. Mrs. Rogier was born at West Frankfort, IL and was a 1938 graduate of Benton High School at Benton, IL. Prior to her marriage, she had worked for Commercial Telephone in Benton. Following her marriage, and throughout her life, she assisted her husband with the operation of his insurance businesses. Mr. & Mrs. Rogier were Charter Members of First Baptist Church-Highland where she had taught Sunday School for a number of years. Anna Lee was an avid gardener; loved to play Scrabble; and was a faithful reader of her Bible. She and her faithful & loving husband, Clinton, celebrated over 70 years of marriage. The family celebrates her going home to be with her Lord.
