Angela Marie \"Angie\" Young (nee Geiger), age 81 of Highland, IL, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Highland, IL. She was born on Saturday, November 17, 1928, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Joseph Felix and Ida (nee Woltering) Geiger. On Thursday, August 26, 1954, she married Hayden J. Young who passed away on May 18, 2002. She was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church. She was also a member of American Legion Ladies Aux. #439;VFW Ladies Aux. Post #5694;St. John\'s Alumni Assoc. Angela was born in Highland; grew up on family farm east of Highland. She graduated St. Paul High School 1946; St. John\'s School of Nursing 1949. She was a Surgical Nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Highland, several nursing homes; office nurse at Dr. Hediger (now Highland Physicians) . She retired in 2000. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, yard work, dancing, bingo. She loved spending time with her family. Survivors include: Son - Michael H.
