Kathy S. Maine, age 73 of Alhambra, IL, died Monday, August 29, 2022, at her home, Alhambra, IL. She was born on Tuesday, March 1, 1949, in East Saint Louis, IL. On Saturday, May 3, 1969, she married Donald R. Maine. Kathy was born in E. St. Louis, IL and grew up in Cahokia, IL. She graduated from Cahokia High School. She continued to live in Cahokia and after marriage they lived in Washington Park, IL. They moved to Alhambra, IL, in 1973. She was a homemaker and later was a school bus driver, clerk at Aviston Lumber and retired as a bank teller from The Bank of Edwardsville. She enjoyed her grandchildren, traveling, playing Bunco, and bowling. She and her husband were "Winter Texans". She was a Cub Scout (Pack #40) and Boy Scout (Troop #91) leader for many years. She was preceded in death by: Father - Harold James Flannigan Mother - Myrle (nee Hussman) Sweeney Husband - Donald R. "Donny" Maine - Died 10/22/2011 Father-In-Law - Edwin H. Maine Mother-In-Law - June A. Arrangements are being handled by Dauderman Mortuary in Alhambra, IL. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Dauderman Mortuary in Alhambra, IL and from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Dauderman Mortuary in Alhambra, IL. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Dauderman Mortuary in Alhambra, IL. Interment will be at Salem Cemetery in Alhambra, IL.
