Kevin T. Reckmann
Kevin Todd Reckmann, age 49, of Edwardsville, IL., died Friday, March 5, 2010, at his residence.
He was born June 30, 1960, in Highland, IL., the son of Lorman and Karol (Koenig) Reckmann.
On June 12, 1982, he married Deborah Ann (Lamb) Reckmann, who survives.
He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Alhambra, IL.
Kevin was born in Highland, and grew up in Rural Worden. He graduated Edwardsville High School in 1978 and attended Bailey Technical School to be a Diesel Mechanic. He had worked at Sievers Equipment, Mississippi Valley Equipment, Alton European Imports, and most recently at Tri Star Imports in Ellisville, MO. He enjoyed Duck Hunting, attending antique tractor shows, gardening, raising chickens, and loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include Wife-Deborah Ann (Lamb) Reckmann of Edwardsville, Ill., Father-Lorman Reckmann of Worden, Ill., Mother-Karol J. Reckmann nee Koenig of Worden, Ill., Daughter-Julie A. (Joshua) Kleiboeker of Highland, Ill., Daughter-Nicole L. (William) Crabtree of Fort Rucker, Ala., Daughter-Laura M. Reckmann of Edwardsville, Ill., Grandchild-Paige E. Kleiboeker, Grandchild-Gavin T. Kleiboeker, Grandchild-Lydia G. Crabtree, Brother-Lonnie R. (Jeanne) Reckmann of Alhambra, Ill., Sister-Lorna K. (Larry) McGee of Worden, Ill., Brother-Dean A. (Debra) Reckmann of Alhambra, Ill., Sister-Karen L. (William) French of Alhambra, Ill., Brother-Steve S. (Patti) Reckmann of Hamel, Ill., Brother-Matthew D. Reckmann(Companion Sondra Marsh) of Alhambra, Ill., Mother&Father-in-law-Frank (Janet) Lamb of Edwardsville, Ill., Nieces&Nephews-Many .
He was preceded in death by Brother-Danny L. Reckmann, died 7/2/1970
Arrangements are being handled by Dauderman Mortuary in Alhambra, Ill.Service InformationVisitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, March 8, 2010, and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Salem United Church of Christ, Alhambra, IL.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Salem United Church of Christ in Alhambra, IL., with Rev. Jerry Amiri, Pastor Salem United Church of Christ, Alhambra, Illinois officiating.
Interment will be at Salem Cemetery in Alhambra, Ill.
