Take I-70 West to
Exit #30 (U.S. 40 & IL. 143). Turn Left (South) onto U.S. 40 &
IL. 143. Continue Southwest for 3.6 miles to a roundabout.
ENTRANCE INTO HIGHLAND:
Follow the roundabout (about ¾
around the circle) and stay to the right (South) onto Poplar
Street. Continue on Poplar Street past Sixth, Seventh
and Eighth Streets. Turn Right (West) on Ninth Street.

Take Exit #96 onto
I-64 West – St. Louis. Go West 39 miles to Albers Exit

Road & IL State Rte. 161, go Left (West) onto IL Rte. 161
(Casey’s Gas Station on left - 4 miles west to 4-way stop in
New Baden). At (4-way stop) Intersection of Rte. 161 &
Rte. 160, take Right (North) onto IL Rte. 160 (before Phillips
66 Gas Station - 5 miles to 4-way stop in Trenton). At
(4-way stop) Intersection of Rte. 50 & Rte. 160, continue
North through intersection for 9 miles.
ENTRANCE INTO HIGHLAND: At
the intersection of IL Rte. 160 & Broadway (Stop sign-Cool
Cats Restaurant on Left), turn Right (East) on Broadway.
Continue on Broadway through 4 traffic lights: Walnut, Laurel,
Washington, and Cypress Streets. Merge into left turn
lane at 5th traffic light. . Turn Left
(North) onto Poplar Street. Go 2 blocks on Poplar Street

through flashing red light, crossing IL. Rte. 140). At. 4-way
stop, intersection of Rte. 4 and IL. Rte. 143, turn Left
(East) onto IL. Rte. 143 toward Marine, Illinois.
Continue through the Village of Marine East over I-70 (2.1
miles). It is 6.5 miles to Highland.

Continue through two stoplights (Cally Lane and Troxler Ave.).
At the intersection of IL. Rte. 143 & IL Rte. 40 (traffic
light)-Chevrolet Dealership/Ponderosa, turn Left (East) on IL.

East on I-70/I-55 past both Collinsville exits until Exit 17
(about 7 miles from Exit 25A). Go East at Exit #17 onto
IL. Rte. 40 (about 13 miles to Highland). Continue on
IL. Rte. 40 past Troy, IL. (traffic light). Continue on
IL. Rte. 40 past St. Jacob, IL. (traffic light).

the intersection of IL. Rte. 143 & IL Rte. 40 (traffic
light)-Chevrolet Dealership/Ponderosa, continue heading East
on IL. Rte. 40 (approximately 3/4 mile to the roundabout) and

go East on IL. Rte. 40 (Left), approximately 3/4 mile to the
roundabout, and stay to the right onto Poplar Street (1/4
